Melanie meets MOONCHURCH
Melanie Bonajo is looking for what is someones inspiration, what is someones background, how much does the personal influence the professional, what is the role of emotion in the process, what is someones motivation. What someone dismisses.
Is there an essence, how systems of thinking vary, what is someones gift, what is the role of love and fear? How much freedom of choice is experienced? Is reality experienced as a system of power? How to enter in to sympathy with your own work? Is the world hostile? How to approach reality with love? How do you relate yourself to the world ( which emotion or which characteristics), what is the role of childhood? What is the furthest away from your own practice, but something you really enjoy, where is the inconsistency, do you use distraction as a tool to work?
Finsih the following sentence…I am alone….how is the world without humans? What is intolerant luxury, are there certain inner injuries you try to avoid by working in a certain way, what must be remembered.. why ? Does the work write itself?
What were moment in your life that your desires changed…
Melanie visits artists in New York, and is looking for answers on these questions by taking pictures of artists.
