Natalia Love Dust

A few words about this piece:
As in many of Natalia?s videos, Love Dust presents the viewer with a vision
of reality that is both truthful and trancelike. Shot in a hotel room in
Paris France, it is an abstract composition involving a bed, someone?s foot,
a heavy red curtain and the dust in the air. This simple picture takes on a
fantastical quality as the sunlight filtering through the curtain
illuminates the dust, thus turning it into sparkling dots of light. Through
this effect we may recall the microscopic life sharing our environment; what
we can see is not really solid and what we cannot see could potentially
exist. We may think about how our perception is so heavily influenced by
everything, and realize that space is a limitless container and all things
in it are part of one totality. Ultimately we may just be reminded of the
magical story of Peter Pan and specially his words: ?all you need is trust
and a little bit of pixie dust? ?Either way we will fly.
